Bagel Brunch: Yom Hashoah Join us this morning to commemorate Yom Hashoah. Yom Hashoa Bagel Brunch Sunday, May 4, 10 A.M. Dora Apsan Sorrell, our speaker, is a retired physician who lives in Berkeley. She is a survivor of the Holocaust, a lecturer for 20 years and a writer. Her book (in the sixth printing), Tell The Children, Letters to Miriam, was written as a legacy to teach the younger generation the lessons of the Holocaust, to sensitize them to the consequences of hate and intolerance. Dora will tell her story in relation to the history of the Holocaust, and she will also have her book available for purchase. Her website is www.letterstomygrandchildren.com.
