Havurot means "Friendship Groups."

Because Kol Hadash has members from such a wide area, Havurot are excellent ways to get to know members from your neck of the woods.

Marin Havurah

The Marin Havurah gets together monthly, usually on the third Wednesday evening for friendship and lively discussions on timely topics.  We also regularly plan events that include theatre parties, lectures and dining out. As a group we offer services (Tikkun Olam) to the Jewish Family and Children's Services where we decorate and fill holiday bags with holiday treats and deliver them to homebound Jewish Seniors for all the Jewish holidays.  We also occasionally help by hosting Sabbath services at the Redwoods. Berkeley/Albany/El Cerrito Havurah

The Berkely/Albany/El Cerrito Haavurah (...and neighboring vicinities) meets monthly on the 3rd Wednesday evening of the month for friendship, schmoozing, and potluck desserts.

Oakland/Piedmont Havurah

Oakland/Piedmont/Hayward Havurah meets monthly on the 3rd Saturday afternoon in a member’s home, to get to know each other better through conversation on personal and current topics, and various activities, such as visiting the Oakland Museum, play reading, and parties.
